Cambridge Dental Group was created through a merger of two very well established practices in Cambridge; Charnock House Dental Practice and Emmanuel Road Dental Practice.

Our services are available to you and your family through a wide range of schemes;

Private Dental Care:
Available to all adult patients at initial registration. A full range of treatment options and preventive advice is included.

Private Capitation (Denplan):
The Denplan service is available to patients who are deemed to be dentally fit after initial necessary care has been completed. For further details please ask for Denplan policy brochures

NHS Capitation:
This service is only available to children whose parents are regular patients of the Practice, and is free until the age of 18; after which time they will be offered private treatment.

Referrals:
You may have been referred by your own dentist for treatment in one of these fields.

Periodontology: study of gum disease. Our specialist team offer their expertise for management of such conditions.

Implantology: artificial replacement of lost teeth through creation of a new root and crown system. We offer different Implant systems such as Brånemark and 3i. Ask for details.

Endodontics: Treatment of infected root canal system

Oral Surgery: Treatment of pathologies in oral tissues.

Cosmetic Dentistry: Referral also accepted to address your dental cosmetic issues. As well as the initial examination, you may have further measurements taken of the oral structures, including radiographs, impressions for study casts and clinical photographs. These are to help diagnose your condition, and to aid us in monitoring your progress. Treatment required will be explained to you, and your dentist will be involved in the long term management of your case. You will normally also be seen by the hygienist, who will advise you on particular oral hygiene measures appropriate to your needs, and will carry out some aspects of your treatment. We can supply a wide range of materials and information to help you maintain your oral health, including videos and leaflets on various aspects of treatment

We speak many languages, but English is our common tongue. Our Practice Protocol is to provide a model service in clinical efficiency and efficacy for each one of our patients. We aspire to the highest clinical, nursing and financial standards, promoting transparency and best practice – we keep you fully informed.

Environmental
Our environmental ethos is as:

1. We utilise biodegradable materials from renewable sources wherever possible.
2. We abandoned the use of mercury 13 years ago and can claim experience and expertise in the use of alternative materials.
3. We are diligent in the control of cross-infection, primarily through the use of high pressure thermal vacuum and enzyme-based treatments.

State-of-the-art digital dental radiography reduces up to 1/5 of conventional exposure, whilst producing a high-definition image.
